  • We've been working with James H Heal & Co Ltd in Halifax.  The company is a family owned and run manufacturer of textile-testing instruments.  They hosted an Inside Industry visit on 15 June 2010.  If you'd like to learn about their first steps on their Lean journey, read the Case Study (pdf).

 

  • We have been working with Groundwork North East to improvGreen Check logoe our environmental performance so that we can reduce our impact on the environment.  Groundwork visited our office and carried out baseline environmental assessments, looking at water and energy consumption, waste disposal, recycling and legal compliance.  Groundwork suggested a series of recommendations and opportunities for improvement which we successfully acted upon.  We're now pleased to be the recipients of the Green Check Certificate showing our commitment to reducing our environmental impact.

  • Manufacturing Masters - Read about this unique set of practical learning programmes for manufacturing companies based in Yorkshire and The Humber areas.  The programmes are managed by YFM Business Development, funded by Yorkshire Forward and recognised and awarded by the University of Leeds.
